From Mose:

Back in Memphis Tennessee at the age of 13, I started training my GSD Pain. I trained him in basic and off-lead obedience under the watchful eye of an older gentleman who taught me much about training and  working with dogs. I trained Sinbad, my next GSD, in basic obedience as well as many tricks. We would visit local elementary schools to do demonstrations. We were also visiting nursing homes and other care facilities where Sinbad was an animal therapy worker.
While in my last year of high school, I trained my friend's dog and gave it back to him as a birthday present. Teaching it basic obedience in order to prove to myself the talent I had for dog training.

As the years went on I fulfilled my dream of being the dog trainer I wanted to be and have had the opportunity to work with many other peoples' companion dogs, high performance dogs, law enforcement K-9 as well as my own dogs who have won numerous awards. In 1995 I opened my own business, K-9 Obedience Training Center, where I have been able to work with many dogs in basic obedience, advanced obedience as well as alarm dog training.

In addition to training, I educate children in area schools about dog safety. Bringing dogs with me on these visits, I show kids how to behave around dogs, especially strange dogs, how to properly approach a dog with the owner's permission, helping them understand why they should never run away from a dog, etc. I also enjoy taking dogs to the cancer rehabilitation hospital for aiding in animal therapy as well as visiting inmates at the women's correctional facility, TARC and several different cancer foundation fund raisers.

I truly have been blessed to have a career I love and enjoy.
